Amruta Fadnavis launches Lit-O-Fest to promote Rural development internationally.
"We are excited to be part of this wonderful cultural
initiative by Smita Parikh and Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation
(MTDC) is doing whatever it can to support the event. Lit O Fest is doing wonderful job in using
literature to improvise the plight of education and literacy in the villages of
Maharashtra and taking this campaign internationally", said Amruta
Fadnavis who would be present during the London Chapter of Lit O Fest in
Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan London and the House of Lords, British Parliament, London
on the 6th and the 7th of September'2018.
"We are also felicitating some dignitaries from the
field of Art, Culture, music and literature in the House of Lords, British
Parliament on the 7th of September with the 'Innoventure Awards' for their
contribution in their respective fields during our festival. Mumbai is possibly
the first such festival in india to adopt a village named Dahigaon and is
taking care of the education, hygiene and skill development of the rural
girls,"" stated Ms Smita Parikh, the founding Director.
" It's a rarity
to see an organisation supporting not only the achievements but also the
possibility in the practitioners of Literature, Art and music and I am
delighted to be nominated for the 'Innoventure Awards' to be given in the House
of Lords, British Parliament, London. I got in touch with Lit O Fest when they
had awarded the Best 1st Published Book of an Author award to my Debut Novel,
What A Loser! (Penguin Books) few years back and the organisation is doing
extraordinary work since then. Lit O Fest '

Other dignitaries along with Ms Amrita Fadnavis, Smita
