TUMBHI ANNOUNCES CRAZE – A SHORT FILM CONTEST
Tumbhi, a talent showcase platform for short film makers, photographers, actors, models, singers, music composers, writers, lyricists and script writers has announced ‘Craze – Short Film Contest’. Through this contest, Tumbhi invites entries from short film makers worldwide. The entries will be reviewed and judged by eminent jury panel chaired by Anurag Kashyap
“Short Film is an excellent way for film makers to prove their talent. It is easy to make a short film without over investing, it’s quick and it gives immense exposure and experience to the film maker. However, the real challenge for the film makers is to get their film in front of hundreds of people. Tumbhi aims to help such talented film makers by providing them a strong platform where they can not only showcase their talent, get in front of hundreds and thousands of people, but also get expert advice and guidance from eminent panel of judges chaired by Anurag Kashyap”, says Robin Rastogi, Head of Operations at Tumbhi.
Entry for this Short Film Contest is free. Participants just need to submit their film online. All the entries will be reviewed and judged by Tumbhi’s expert jury panel comprising of ace director Anurag Kashyap who himself started with short films, Prashant Godbole, a well-known name in adverting industry and the brain behind many campaigns of Philips, Citibank, Bajaj, Shoppers Stop, Raymond, Taj, Westside and many others and LC Singh, a writer, producer and IT Entrepreneur. With such diverse expertise on board, the jury panel aims to offer valuable advice and insights to the participants and help them get better in film making.
The excitement for the film makers does not end here. The winning entries get a chance to be featured in the exclusive Tumbhi Short Film Festival which is planned in November 2012. These entries will be showcased along with many other short films from film makers worldwide.
