“Devyani” at a hundred and still going strong!

“Devyani”, completes a momentous 100 hundred days on the 11th of July 2012. To celebrate this outstanding achievement, Maverick Productions Pvt. Ltd., threw a bash on Wednesday with the cast of the show as well as the movers and shakers of the small screen. This well organized event was put together by Reetika Mehra of RM Enterprises.

Devyani is the story of a Maharastrian girl from Kolhapur and who has been brought up with middle class values. She swears by the principles set by her father, a professor, and her grandmother. Devyani’s marriage has been fixed with Dr.Namit. Both Devyani and Namit develop a fondness for each other.

With their engagement round the corner,  Devyani suddenly discovers that Sangram is obsessed with her. She does not know what to do.  Sangram’s family is not only powerful, but also feared!

While Sangram stalks Devyani, he comes to know that Devyani is about to get engaged to Namit.  Sangram is livid.  He will never allow Devyani to belong to someone.. He begins to plot a plan to abort the engagement.

 What happens when Devyani gets to know about the plan? Will Sangram be able to stop the engagement?”
