Controversial Swami Nithyananda gets a Bollywood publicist!
Controversy is his second name! But throwing caution to
winds, spiritual leader and self-styled godman Paramahamsa Nithyananda, more
popularly known as Swami Nithyananda, has gone ahead and got himself a publicist
from Bollywood.
Public relations specialist Dale Bhagwagar, who has handled
the imaging and branding for names such as Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra,
Govinda, controversy’s favourites Shilpa Shetty, Shiney Ahuja, Vivek Oberoi,
Rakhi Sawant and Playboy diva Sherlyn Chopra, the late Viveka Babajee’s family,
television superstar Ram Kapoor, international filmmaker Ashok Amritraj, and
movies such as Don and Rock On; will now look after the imaging of Swami
Nithyananda.
“Brand Nithyananda is one of the most misunderstood and
misrepresented in the country,” states the publicist.
“Swami Nithyananda is a highly-evolved spiritual personality
who has helped thousands all over the country and abroad to find purpose in
life. Still, in the media, he is more known for ridiculous charges such as a
reportedly morphed sex-scandal video, a sexual-abuse accusation he has denied,
falsely alleged possessions of elephant tusks and tiger skins, and many such
unfounded theories and controversies,” Bhagwagar points out.
So what difference does the Bollywood PR expert plan to bring
to Brand Nithyananda? “Swami Nithyananda does not need publicity. All I am going
to try and humbly achieve is to bring out the truth with the help of the media;
the torchbearers of truth with courage. That’s all! Nothing more; nothing less!”
