COLORS launches ‘The Late Night Show’ with Sumeet Raghavan

The Late Night Show, just like JayHind!, is uniquely scripted and uncensored and has an irreverent take on happenings of all kinds, across the board. It relies on a satire of news including everyone and everything that makes headlines across the world for the stand-up routine and the gags. It focuses on really entertaining and funny conversations for the interview segment which features a host of fake celebrities, especially political personalities through biting commentary on the state of affairs. The show has developed its own style of ‘animation coupled with live action’ to create a new comic paradigm.
Speaking about finally bringing JayHind! to television, Sumeet Raghavan, Anchor of The Late Night Show said, “The creative force behind JayHind! and now The Late Night Show leaves no doubt in my mind that we have a show which will create ripples in the country. It has the unique ability to strike a chord with the common man. The humourous take on everything that’s making news in and around the world is intellectually scripted and is entertaining at the same time – a rare combination!”
Excited about bringing the popular online show to television, Abhigyan Jha, Creator-Director of The Late Night Show and Founder-CEO of Undercover Productions Ltd. said, “We are happy to have found the perfect broadcast partner in COLORS. The outlook of the channel is in sync with our core beliefs. We hope to form a long standing and successful alliance with the channel and hope to grow from strength to strength. Our loyal fan base on the internet has grown consistently over the years and we hope to replicate the same with The Late Night Show.”
