The versatile actor Mithun Chakraborty is re-launching his son, Mimoh Chakraborty through one of the oldest and the reputed entertainment company, Aftab Pictures (P) Ltd. which is in existence since almost four decades. The film is titled as The Murderer. Producer Salim Akhtar is the Managing Director of Aftab Pictures (P) Ltd., who started out as a film distributor in 1972 in Kolkata. In 1977 he purchased the world rights of Amitabh – Waheeda starrer Adalat, before producing his first film Choron Ki Baarat in 1977 with Shatrughan Sinha and Neetu Singh in the lead. The veteran actor on Thursday night launched the Vintage Shakespeare Collection at Crossword in Juhu on the occasion of the legendary writer’s 445th anniversary. The team of Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd’s forthcoming action thriller ‘Blue’, Directed by Anthony D'souza, shot for their underwater sequence which included dangerous stunts with the sharks in the diving center of Stuartcove at Bahamas. And apparently post their shoots, Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar and Zayed Khan who star in the movie have been included among the their own hall of fame board. The particular place also happens to be one of the biggest and most famous underwater shark dive in the world. The actors’ photos have been put up among the prestigious guests who had come down to the place. And interestingly the trio also happen to be the first Indians to be included in it along with top Hollywood actors like Pierce Brosnan, Daniel Craig, Sean Connery, Tiger Woods, Johnny Depp as the movie Pirates of the Caribbean had been shot there too.

It had snowed the day before and the ice was slippery... and due to a scene, Gauri was made to stand in the snow at one place for almost 3-4 hours!!! Needless to say, Gauri was close to tears after the scene, as the -25 degree temperature had seeped into her body and her shoes and socks had become wet! Calling Mallika Sherawat "a pure soul," Shreemad Jagadguru Shankaracharya Shree Shree Raghaveshwara Bharathi Swamiji, the 36th and present pontiff of Shree Ramachandrapura math, made a special invitation to Mallika Sherawat to visit his new ashram in Karnataka and organized a number of special pujas in her honor. Apparently Mr. Bachchan was extremely excited about the groovy track picturised on himself and Riteish Deshmukh and while planning the shoot for the peppy number, expressed his desire to contribute to the song in his very own way: by choosing his own outfit for it! Of course, the director willingly agreed and Mr. Bachchan went on to chose a deep red velvet jacket which added that extra touch of grandeur to his already larger-than-life persona in the film.
