बॉलीवुड के निर्देशक रहे के.बालचन्दर को 2010 के दादा साहब फाल्के पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया है। वर्ष 1949 में जीव विज्ञान से बी.एस.सी करने वाले बालचन्दर ने फिल्मों में आने से पहले अध्यापन का कार्य किया और महालेखाकार ऑफिस में बतौर अधीक्षक काम करने वाले इस शख्स ने नाटकों के जरिए दक्षिण भारतीय फिल्मों में स्थान बनाया।

The actor shot a lavish song for ‘Ready’ with Two choreographers! ‘Character Dheela’, is what superstar Salman Khan is describing his character through a song in his upcoming film ‘Ready’. Replete with amusing lyrics and Salman’s patent dance moves, the song was shot in Bangkok with 100 dancers especially flown down from Mumbai. Moreover, two separate choreographers - Raju Khan and Mudassar Khan worked together on the song with Salman to create a total Dhamaal number! Anurag Kashyap selects Rahul Bhat (not Mahesh Bhatt’s Son) for his next project as the lead actor; this film is a thriller set in Mumbai, which Anurag wanted to make since long and was looking for an actor who could essay the role in a way he envisioned. After several interactions with Rahul, Anurag decided to cast him for the role because of Rahul’s understanding for the character. The film will be jointly produced by Anurag Kashyap and Shahnaab Alam, and will soon hit the floors. Anurag said "I have known Rahul since my struggle days when we lived next door to each other. I only discovered his potential much later when i started to interact with him. And this thriller I wanted to do, his life experience is quiet close to the character I am writing." The Mahurat of Viacom 18 & AB Corp’s ‘Bbuddah - Hoga Terra Baap’ written and directed by Puri Jagannadh took place recently at Khoja bunglow at Versova. While the Director broke the auspicious coconut and took the first shot on Sonu Sood, the Mahurat was also attended by Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sonal Chauhan. The movie has a stupendous star cast that includes Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini, Raveena Tandon, Sonu Sood, Sonal Chauhan, Southern actress Charmi and more. Amitabh Bachchan, who will reprise his ‘Angry old man avatar’ with this movie, will be joining the shoot later in March. The DOP is Amol Rathod. The film is slated for release mid 2011.

Anupam’s character in Zokkomon I play dual roles of Deshraj, Darsheel’s heartless maternal uncle who abandons him and Magic, the village scientist who creates Zokkomon. I was initially approached to play the bad uncle and surprised everyone by suggesting that I play magic too. The immediate reaction was that’s impossible because they are two diametrically different characters with no common link. What was so different in this film? This is the first time I have played the protagonist and the antagonist. When I was first narrated the role, I told Disney I wanted to do the second role as well! They were at first surprised and then thanked me for giving them the idea because both roles have come out fantastic! How was the look of both your characters designed? It’s one of the most unique challenges I have undertaken in my career.
